what to put on an appeals form to get my son into a seconday school of my choice?

Moved to the States for a year, my son was in the catchment area. His sister was at the seconday school and will be returning to the school - place has been confirmed. My children will be living with their grandparents (this is in the catchment area for the requested school) until my husband and i return in the new year. I was late in getting in my forms so there was no place available. He has been given an alternative school - single sex school. To avoid all problems for the grandparents and because the requested school is also a better school, i need help with what to put on the appeals form. Time is of the essence as I am obviously still in the states. any help would be grateful received.

Answer by armchair philosopher
Make an issue out of the single sex status of the other school. Tell them you have ethical/religious issues with single sex schools and you will not stand for your son having to go to of those. Not sure how to do that but it's food for thought. Good luck.
