Question by eloha: What options are there for a young adult who wants to try sex but doesn't want to be perceived as a slut?

What if I'm tired of holding onto my virginity so that my husband one day won't think of me as used goods and want to try sex already? Why can't I try sex to learn what it feels like without men thinking I'm a used up slut? My body craves to know what it's like but society keeps telling me I'm not supposed to even want to do it let alone actually have sex.

You can still hold on to your morality and values while having an active sex life. It won't change you as a person. If you still wear the same clothes, listen to the same music, see the same people and eat the same foods... who is going to know? If you start dressing up like Julia Roberts in the beginning of Pretty Woman, then you're simply inviting trouble.

I for one think it's highly unfair for women to be classified as sluts while men are hailed as studs. Find someone nice to begin with. While you're lead to believe that your first time is oh so special, in reality it's memory will fade all too quickly.
